    when to buy

    when will bp eggs start hatching? how long afterwards do breeders generally put them for sale?

    Many breeders have clutches all year round; those that go by season (cool through winter months) have clutches hatch anywhere from March through August. What I've seen, and tend to agree with is breeders selling hatchling after they've reliably taken a few meals - so around one or two months old. Some may list the hatchling earlier and say something like, "needs a few more meals before being shipped."
