COLLECTION SALE - Group and Individual Pricing
I apologize for the length of this ad, but I wanted to make some information clear and save everyone some time. First, I need to move all my remaining balls as soon as possible. I have been trying to sell off the collection piecemeal, but at this point I would prefer to take a price cut to move everyone at once rather than drag the process out further.
To that end, I am offering all snakes below in bulk, regardless of individual pricing listed, for a TOTAL PRICE OF $2,000. The caveat, however, is that this is a fixed, group price for all available snakes. By agreeing to this price, you also agree to accept all other snakes for sale, several of which are not of great market value, e.g. the male normal, male lesser, male enchi, etc. If interested you must be willing to take all of the animals listed in this ad, unless otherwise noted. This would only make sense for someone interested in the few more expensive morphs but has extra rack space to accommodate or the means to wholesale animals, etc.
If interested in the group price, I will also make two racks and one Herpstat II (blue LED) available for an additional price of $500. The first rack is an 8-slot sterilite RBI juvenile rack with belly heat. The second is an adult ball/small boa rack from Freedom Breeder with their FB80-W tubs (clear plexiglass window), casters, and ventilated tops. I don’t believe they still carry this exact rack, but it is almost identical to the current model 0808W listed on their website, except it has 7 tubs rather than 8.
In the alternative, all snakes are also available individually for the price listed below. I am open to reasonable offers given the circumstances, but no trades please. Prices do not include shipping, which will be via SYR overnight delivery. I am also available to meet in person anywhere within a 30-mile radius of Washington, D.C.
I guarantee that all animals are healthy at the time of purchase; live arrival is also guaranteed subject to my discretion regarding shipping temperatures, and provided that someone is available to sign for the package upon the first delivery attempt. Please contact me via PM here or via email at: barristerballs@gmail.com with any questions or for more pictures. Please be sure to specify whether you’re interested in the group price or an individual animal.

*This clutch was a bit of a mystery for me last year. As best I can tell, these two are pastel jigsaws, but regardless of whether the third gene is fire or pastel the odds are equally unlikely. For anyone interested, the dam was a kingpin who locked with a BEL (mojo x lesser) and a firefly. The dam is responsible for the pin, and the BEL sire is responsible for the mojave, but unless he’s also hiding something else, I don’t know how to explain their appearance. I am convinced that these two are not simple jigsaws due to their color and pattern, but I haven’t had any experience with multiple sires contributing to the same egg.
**$500 is slightly above what I believe to be the market price for special females, but she has locked with a male mojave x lesser BEL almost a dozen times this winter (see picture), and follicles are growing.
She’s still on-feed, so I doubt that ovulation will happen for another month or so, but still very good odds of winding up with a clutch of crystals if you take her.

Collection Sale - PRICE REDUCED - FINAL BUMP
As should be readily apparent from the previous two posts, I am making a concerted effort to get out of breeding balls pythons. I've winnowed down the numbers, and now it's time for a different tack to move the stragglers. I still plan to keep three royals that I consider true pets, and I have a pair of indigos that somehow aren't bored of me after a year and a half, so point being, I plan to keep coming back to the boards from time to time.
With that said, cry havoc and let slip the updated sales pitch!
UPDATED with price reduction -- $1,500 for ALL animals
I've had this ad posted for the last month or so, and I have sold a few of the previously-advertised females, which are indicated below. Unfortunately we're rapidly approaching a tipping point of too many hemipenes for anyone to be interested in wholesale, thereby defeating the purpose of the ad. In the hope of avoiding this outcome, the new group price is $1,500, plus shipping. I've tinkered around with the SYR website, and I can safely estimate that shipping will be somewhere between $250-$400, depending on the destination.
With one exception (regarding a proven yellowbelly het ultramel, which I will discuss below), I am only interested in selling all remaining animals as quickly as possible. To that end, I will also accept $1,500 for all five remaining females in lieu of the entire collection for the same price. Not to beat a dead horse (as appears inevitable) but the purpose of this update is to list $1,500 as the price either for the entire collection, including all males, OR $1,500 for all remaining females only. If you are interested in the latter option, I will gladly sell the females as a group and simply try to sell off the males later either at auction or for shipping costs only. In either case, the females are available only as a group, and I will no longer accept offers for individual females. All remaining males are still available individually.
To clarify, if you are interested only in the remaining females, they are available only as a group for $1,500 plus shipping. As of 03/30/15, I have five (5) remaining females: the fire champagne ringer produced by Dave Green; the proven spider and proven lesser (each between 2300-2500 grams); and the two 2013 pastel jigsaws I produced. The exception that I mentioned above is the following: this is obviously my last year breeding for the purpose of selling snakes, and I still have a gravid yellowbelly 100% het ultramel who bred with a pastel 100% het ultramel this winter. I am choosing to wait until she lays her clutch before I make her available. I've always wanted an ultramel, and I'll hold back a visual if the odds are favorable. Basically this means there is a sixth female included, but not immediately available. If you are interested in either option, i.e. the entire group or the five females, the price will also include this yellowbelly het ultra, making six (6) females total, three of which will be proven breeders. However, I will not ship the yellowbelly het ultra until she lays and takes a few meals, so please do not expect her to be shipped with any other snakes. If I'm lucky enough to hit on the visual, I'll be holding back one ultramel, but otherwise all of her offspring will be available once established. Please contact me for additional details on that clutch if interested in an ultramel project, as I'd prefer to wholesale the babies as well. Again, I apologize for the minutiae and meandering, but if you're patient enough to read everything, there's a great deal to be had.
TL;DR:
Option 1: $1,500 (plus shipping) for all remaining animals, OR
Option 2: all remaining females for $1,500 (plus shipping).
For both options, the price includes a yellowbelly 100% het ultramel that will be shipped at a later date after she lays. Her shipping costs will be separate as well.
To conclude, I've kept a condensed version of my original ad below with pictures, but please feel free to contact me for current weights, additional photos, and all other inquiries. Send me a PM here or email me at barristerballs@gmail.com.
Thanks.
