    Juvenile not eating!

i purchased my BP on 2/4. She had successfully eaten on 2/1. I was told she had been feeding on Sundays. So, on 2/8 I tried to feed her and she refused. She was also getting ready to start a shed as her eyes had gotten milky. I was told on here just to wait to her next feeding day, which would be today and try again. She has completed a successful shed Saturday and I came to school to feed her and she actually ducked her head away from her fuzzy. Please help! I am worried about her not eating.

The mouse might not be warm enough. It possibly could be that since u had her/him it was in shed it might be still adjusting to it's new environment. I would say give it another week. U could try the mouse in chicken broth. That's how I got my bp to start eating again.

Agreed. Once the mouse I was feeding wasn't quite warm enough, but once I warmed it a bit more..,bam! So fussy aren't they? Though I suppose it would be like eating cold soup. It's just gross. And that the snake is in shed may also be a problem. Some people don't even attempt to feed the snake when in shed.

Also wanted to add , try a live mouse. That's what got mine eating when I first got him. Mine, like yours also refused the first meal.
