    BP does not stay still

So I adopted a BP, fully grown adult, but don't know much about her history. I wanted a BP because I would enjoy having her sit while I watch tv etc, as a calmer pet. She does not and will not stop moving when I hold her haha!

I have only had her a month, so maybe she is still settling in or maybe she is stressed? Any tips on reducing stress while handling?

She also hasn't eaten since I got her, so maybe this is why?

Any ideas? Maybe just individual snakes personality?

Well does she seem to be trying to get away from you or just moving around? I have many snakes that you cant get to stay still, but they just want to crawl all over you.

Neither one of our BP like to sit still; I wouldn't consider them a good TV watching companion.

If I wanted a TV companion I would go for a lizard. Bearded dragons will sit and watch TV with you and so will some of the bigger ones like Iguanas.

If your BP isn't eating, it's probably best to leave it alone in its enclosure until it does. Taking it out to watch TV may well be the reason it's not eating.

My bp, while still a hatchling is a great tv companion! I'm sure he would sit on my lap/chest/arm for hours, though I never hold him anymore than an hour. They've all got different personalities.

Yes each one is different, some are couch potatoes. Others seem to always explore.

Mine does both, he has hung out around my neck while I watched a movie and looked to explore the couch.
