Malnourished snake, tub size, and mice or rats?

Hey these are my two snakes. I have a few basic questions and I don't want to make a hundred threads:

I know the tub is good for the pinstripe, but I'm unsure about the pastel:

    Here's the setup:

The only difference in setup is water dish size. The pastels is double the red one shown in the pic. Just kidney bean shaped.

Do I need to go bigger for the pastel?

Also the pastel looks skinny, what do you think?

I'm getting a scale this weekend to find their weights...

are these mice or eats? I was told it is a fuzzy and a hopper mouse. The pastel struck at the hopper and then got scared but ate the fuzzy. That was two days ago. I'm trying again with the pinstripe and the pastel tonight.

And a last thing how can I tell if the female is in shed? She looks kinda dulled color on parts. She seems sociable and when I've handled her crawls through my hand and it feels like she's trying to rub but that's with the middle -down half of her body. Here's some more pics:

Also I posted the second to last pic in the wrong spot but may as well be there to show what she looks like I guess

And I almost forgot: are these mice or rats? These are why I've been trying to feed, supposedly mouse fuzzy and hopper.

Your setup should ideally have room for 2 hides, one on the warm, one on the cool side. How are you maintaining heat and humidity? Also, I see no air holes, which is for sure important.

The Pastel might be a little skinny, but if it is eating, that's key.

When getting ready to shed snakes will dull in color, their eyes will "go blue" and form a gray, misty shade between their current eye cap and the new one. They will continue to dull, their eyes will clear up a day or 2 before shed, then they will shed. Some kind of wood or rock like surface would provide a good surface to scratch on for shedding. Though please don't use and old rock or stick they may not be clean, bug free, etc...

However, if these pictures are recent, neither appears to be in shed.

And to me, those look like mice, though I hope someone else can chime in on the size names, I just know that I feed mine a mouse slightly smaller than her largest body width.

Re: Malnourished snake, tub size, and mice or rats?

The air holes are all there it's just the angle. The heat is perfect, hotspot 89-92 but usually 91. Cool side 70-81. The only thing I'm unsure of is humidity, my acurites both read everything the same but one says 77% humidity and the other reads 99% himidity. I have aspen bedding and I'm fairly sure this is not right. If it helps I'm in FL where it can get annoyingly humid, but that's only outside and in the other parts of the year. Inside is maybe 30-50% I'm thinking about making more holes but I feel like this is actually creating less humidity. I just don't think the acurites are acurate for humidity. I know the temps are right because my temp gun reads around the same, -1 or +2.

Also I know I should have planned this already but I want to go bigger for them, build/buy a bigger rack. The thing is this rack was originally for leopard geckos but that never happened. Do you think the pastel will be fine in her setup for the next week or two until I make or build a larger rack?

    Those are mice.
The only thing might be to make smaller hides.
    They like small and tight.
Also small hatchling tubs don't need two hides.
