F/t feeding question

I've had my 2 snakes both eat there mouse backwards.. First my 100g albino did it 5 days ago and now my 350g normal is doing it right now as I type this. Should I try to heat the head of the mouse more next time? Or is it just a thing they do? Litte new to the ft feeding just started at the beginning of the month.

It's just something they do nothing to worry about.

I always heat the head more than any other part of the body.

Well the normal ended up spitting it out then went the normal way now just waiting for the little one to eat

Definitely heat the head up more. Mine seem to strike at whatever part of the rat is the hottest. And sometimes even then they have bad aim lol :p

Yea I noticed haha the little girl ate it right this time heated it up a bit more lol took her a long time last time when it was backwards.

At a loss here now.. BP wont strike while in enclosure dancing the ft mouse around, take her out and put in the battle arena(feeding box i used when i fed live) and she takes it right away.. would like to get rid of this box.. any tips?

As long as she is feeding on F/T regularly, you should try a "take it or leave it" approach. If she doesn't want to eat it, she has to wait another x amount of days (however long your feeding gaps are). Also, regarding the way that she eats her food, although it's already been answered. I do not think that there is really anything to be concerned about, as long as she's eating it, it's fine. I usually use the hairdryer on the food first, then pin the neck down with the tongs and concentrate the hairdryer on the head. Usually helps mine to strike at the head.

Well there eating constantly on ft it's getting them to eat in there enclosures... They don't seem to want to eat in there but when I take them out and put in a feeding box they will strike and eat. I just didn't want to start another thread for the 2nd question.
