New Pastel Fader owner

Hi-

I've done many google searches in regards to ball pythons and all of them inevitably lead right to this site, so I figured I join and learn what I can.

I just recently purchased a pastel fader male from New England Reptile Distributors (actually their pet store, zoo creatures).I named him Gus, because I love breaking bad. He's super cool and about 5 or 6 months old. I've had him for about 9 days so far, so I am a total newbie.

I fed him for the first time 2 days ago and was surprised (and elated) with how quickly he took the frozen / thawed mouse. Hoping that gets less gross with time

Zoo Creatures has been amazing at guiding me through my first week of ownership. Very grateful to them and their amazing pet store.

I'll give it a try. These 2 pics (if this is even successful and 2 post correctly) were taken immediately after getting him home from the store on the very first day....9 days ago. I had just taken him out of the little bag he was in. He is super gentle and docile.
