    Back VS belly heat

I have been asking alot of questions lately about building my own rack and have gotten many similar responses, except for heating method. Some people prefer back heat and some prefer belly heat. What are the pros and cons of each? What do you prefer?

This discussion has been done a few times. To summarize:
    • Belly heat tends to be more commonly available in commercial racks, thus more people tend to side in that camp.
    • The proponents of back heat like the fact that you don't have to worry about temperature differences between the substrate and the floor of the enclosure with this method.
    • Both can work sufficiently well in creating the temperatures needed for proper thermoregulation.
    • Ultimately, it's a personal decision.
