Goat about to have babies
I'm so excited I can barely contain myself. I have a Nigerian dwarf goat who is pregnant. Her due date is technically the 18th, but she's showing signs that she may not make it that long. I have a camera set up in her, andr I just can't stop watching it!
Why keep a snake? Why keep any animal? Because you enjoy the animal, find something beautiful and fascinating about it, and it fits seamlessly into your lifestyle.

Re: Goat about to have babies
Just got this shot. Looks like she's checking out her babies.
I actually saw the babies moving in her this evening. Can't be comfortable!

I may not be very smart, but what if I am?

Re: Goat about to have babies
A couple new pictures from today. She's been very restless, and didn't eat much between last night and early this afternoon. Lots of time spent laying down, then getting up, pacing her stall, rubbing her sides, then laying down again.

Re: Goat about to have babies
Made it home, and I feel safe saying Chessie might very well be in prelabor. She's very nervous and restless, acts like she wants me near, but at the same time doesn't, very obvious physical change, doesn't want me to touch her, but at the same does, and has a little nest going. I'm sitting with her now, and it looks like she might be starting to have contractions.
