What all does quarantine entail and when is it ok do decide that all is clear?

I send my new snakes to live at a friend's house for 90 days. He has no other reptiles at his place, and his wife really doesn't care much for snakes but will put up with mine since they're short-term residents.

It also force me to limit my purchase since I don't get a new snake until the one in QT at his place is done.
