I've been thinking about picking up either a pair of albinos or a pair of anerythristics. I think I like the anerythristics better.

If you like Anery you should see Jeff's reduce pattern line anery, I am seriously considering them myself.
You can find his new stuff here https://www.facebook.com/holloway.herps (The website barely covers what he has)

Re: Anyone else like Kenyan Sand Boas?
You're welcome. ^^
I love the HRPs! But the calicos are amazing too. I can't wait until I can afford to buy some of the more expensive morphs, haha. Like paint and splash!
I've heard baby kenyan sand boas in general are picky and usually only like live. My girl(anery stripe) will only take live, but the male(albino paradox) is a garbage disposal. I'm just hoping I'll get lucky with most of the future ones in that they'll take f/t right off, but we'll see.

Those are the best most recent pics I have, though those were taken at least 2 months ago.

I have 2 females, an anery and a nuclear. I got the anery at a show and the nuclear I got from Scott Miller.. He posted her litter on sandboas anonymous group on FB. I highly recommend the sandboa keepers and sandboas anonymous groups on FB btw... Stunning pics and many of the great US breeders post there when they have litters or have cool animals to show off. You can get animals at great prices too... much better than at shows IME. I really want a nuclear meltdown albino (nuclear / dodoma cross albino)... but will have to save up for that lol. I also love the splashes, but again, too much money for me at this point.
I enjoy the KSBs, just wish they got a little larger and were more fun to handle. I had more success feeding mine in their tubs (with bedding so that they could bury and "ambush" prey). I feed f/t but do the zombie dance and usually have no issues. I did the deli cup thing when mine were smaller, but my finicky eater eats better now that I feed in her enclosure.

Re: Anyone else like Kenyan Sand Boas?
How big do they get and what is the biggest size mouse or rat they normally feed on?
-

Males: 1.5' females: 3' give or take. I think rat pups are the largest prey item. I have a two year old female (about 2' now) that is feeding on adult mice / large mice and has taken rat pups before (f/t). Males are considerably smaller, thinner, and take smaller prey.

The Picture that I posted on the 1st page is of my adult pair, you can see that the male is about half the size of the female. The male weighs in at around 120g and the female is about 220g I feed adult mice to the female and sub-adult mice to the male.

Here's a video I took of me feeding 5 of my 11 babies after breeding mine several years ago. This was just before I moved the rest of them into individual tubs. They were all great ambush feeders, eating F/T pinkies.
