    What method do you use?

Was just wondering what methods people use when sterilizing new items that they have purchased for there reptile enclosure. I have just purchased some cork bark and was wondering what would be the best way to clean from bacteria, mites etc..

Wash with mild soap and water, then bake in an oven at 180-200*F for half an hour.
