    First rat feeding

I'm so excited my boy ate his first rat today!! He had just finished shedding so he was a very hungary snake (he was eating 2 mice a week an had been 2 weeks since his last meal), still I was very worried about the whole thing. I drpopped that rat into Sampson's cage and I swear he looked at me like 'is that really for me mom?" then as Mr. Ratty wondered back twords him he grabbed it, no hesitation, nothing! It took him a bit to get it swollowed as this dinner was about 1/3 larger then he's used to, but he did it. He is now sprawled out on the warm side of his tank looking content. I am ridiculourly proud of him and honesly in shock the change went so easy. it's just good to see him at full after a feeding and not wandering around the tank wondering where he rest is.

Nice. Glad it went well for your snake.
