Need help with sliding doors
Hey all. I was wondering what thickness plexiglass I should use for a Burmese python's enclosure. The enclosure measures 72"L X 36"W X 18"H I'm going to have a 3 inch border going on the bottom for substrate and 3 inches on the top and sides of the enclosure. Thanks for the advice in advance

if your cage is 72" long by 18 " tall with a total of 6" in rails ( borders ) than your 2 glass pieces will be roughly 12" x 36" . Use 1/4" minimum plexi. For a burn I would say use 1/4" polycarbonate. Much more expensive but burbs can push pretty hard. My guy is a beast and "tests " my glass daily. Also don't forget to reinforce your glass tracks. I glued and nailed mine down to be double safe. It doesn't matter how good the glass is if he can blow the tracks out.

Okay that sounds pretty good. I found a website that sells 3/8 in custom cut polycarbonate

Would I be able to use the regular replacement glass from home depot that is 1/8" thick?
