AP T8 heating
Looking to buy an T8 for my BP asap but stuck on the best way to heat ot without killing the humidity.
I live in Wisconsin and with the cold my apartments temp is in the low 60s. Currently my BP is in a 20g long tank with a 75 watt infrared bulb with ambient temp being from 79 up to 85 sometimes after the heat kicks on.
I was planning on getting the flexwatt but I'm stuck on a way to increase ambient temp. I know you can get holes cut from domes but wouldn't that kill the humidity the same way a tank does? I also read about RHP not doing much from ambient temp.
Anyone here possibly know of the best way to heat a t8 in a very cold room with low humidity have any advice??

I live in MN, so I have the same issue with having a cold house.
I have enclosures that are similar in size to a T8 ,and I have CHE's hooked to a thermostat
that keep the ambient temp where it should be, and flexwatt hooked to another thermostat for
a hot spot. This keeps the temps perfect, but the CHE's kill the humidity. I just put large humid hides
in the enclosure, and large water dishes. They use the humid hides when they need to, and
have had perfect sheds. In the summer, the CHE's don't come on often, so the humidity stays
up better.

A radiant heat panel would work best for you to increase the ambient temperature and you can keep the heat tape for the hot spot.

This is what I was doing when my cages were in my room.
I only had one RHP in a 3x2x18 though.

Thanks everyone for the input. Since majority says radiant heat panel I'll most likely go with that. I'm beyond excited to get this T8.
