    Ball python hide

I'm concerned about my ball pythons hide that I I ordered online. it arrived a few hours ago.. the reason why I'm posting this thread is because I'm concerned about the size it should be. do all hides have to be round in shape? and is the size big enough?

    Re: Ball python hide

Ball Pythons like cramped spaces. It is surprising how they can squish their bodies into a cramped hide. Those hides look big enough to me. If you are worried about the hides being round, maybe cut them in half lengthwise. My BP burrows in the substrate to make more room in the hide. Just make sure if you have a UTH, that it is at 90 degrees because they will burrow down to the floor of your inclosure.
