    Hi From Nova Scotia

Hi folks, new to the world of BP's. My son moved out of his apartment and couldn't decide what to do with his snake. I said that she could stay at my house and, when he got things figured out, take her back. I'm not sure that she is going back! I've got so much to learn but appear to have found the right place for all I need to know (here). I'm not sure how old she is but is a little over two feet long and maybe 1 1/2 inches thick at the thickest part of her body. In my mind she is a normal ball python but I know so little about them that saying this could get me blasted by the experts. I can tell you that she is friendly, inquisitive and a beauty. She moved in on Saturday and I couldn't resist the urge, so I took her out for a stroll around the house yesterday. She seemed to handle it all ok and may wait for awhile to do it again (after reading on here I realized that I should have waited a bit longer but (as my daughter would say) she looked lonely! I'll be posting all kinds of questions because I want to ensure that I am giving her the best care that I can (and she deserves).

Welcome! Congrats on your new friend! Just be careful to not catch the ball python bug, or you might end up buying more haha!

    Re: Hi From Nova Scotia

I fed her for the first time, since I've had her on, Friday night. Wow! did she ever go for it. Hopefully she continues to eat this well.
