    Should I be worried?

I am currently housing a new baby python in an old tank. The snake that lived in this tank previously was taken to the vet once he received a cut during an atypical shed. I noticed his new skin was not as thick as his old scales were. The vet informed me that the snake was dehydrated and that caused the skin to tear. Additionally, the cut on his skin got infected. After several trips to the vet and several hundred dollars spent, he died in the tank. I have since, disinfected the tank and waited several months before getting a new snake. My current snake, although definitely not dehydrated, is having an atypical shed. Nothing seems out of the ordinary about her new scales, but I noticed a little bit of bruising, seemingly from her trying to scrape off old skin. I helped her remove the excess skin and she seems fine, but I am concerned that perhaps the infection from the previous snake is still lingering in the tank. She is still very active, eating well, and having normal bowel movements. The atmosphere is the same as an adult ball that we have and he has never shown any issues. Additionally, I am aware that snakes can have inconsistent shedding when young and being moved to a new environment. Can I assume her atypical shed is just her age and getting accustomed to a new location? Should I take precautions and replace all the bedding and objects in her tank? I just can't handle the death of another snake.

It is around 80 degrees in temperature and the humidity is around 60%. I am using a Zilla Hygrometer Thermometer.
