    Help with Humidity!!!!

Hi, I am a fairly new BP mama, and I've had River (unsexed BP) since August. He's been doing pretty good. Had a full shed in 4 days last week, eats great, hot side is maintained by a thermostat and kept at 87 and cool side fluctuates from 73-78. However, I have a glass tank with mesh top (i know it's not the best for humidity). But, I've been doing the wet towel method to maintain humidity around 55%-58%, 60%-65% during sheds. But, I will be going on a vacation towards the end of the month, and haven't found anyone who's available to come change out his towel twice a day. I will be gone for 8 days, so he'll only need 1 feeding while I'm gone, or wondering if it's okay to just feed him the night before I leave, and the day I get back? Also is there anything cheap I can do to keep the humidity up while I'm gone in case I don't find anyone who's able to come moisten the towel twice a day?

    Thanks a bunch guys!

I would skip the feeding before you go, that way they are less likely to leave a present. You can add an extra water dish as well to help humidity. I've heard you can put an aquarium air stone in a water dish and the constant breaking if the surface helps the humidity, but I haven't tried it myself to be sure.

He won't be too hungry if I skip the feeding?

If he's healthy otherwise it won't harm him. It's worse for him to be sitting in a dirty cage than to miss a meal. Unless you can get someone to watch him.
