My cage setup is finaly starting to come together! I've measured the temsps and I need to heat the other side and I need one more hide. But besides that everthign is perfect. The temp for the hot side is 93 degrees, is this ok?

I'm getting anxious as well! Have you picked out an animal yet? I know you mentioned Alex Hue.

BTW none of the bps are on his site anymore, whats up with that?

Yea those analog dials are connected to a coil that expands as the temp rises and contracts as the temp falls. If you bang it you run the risk of messing up that coil which is not even tied down its just free floating in the housing. At Target they were selling a thememeter that took temps at two places and it had a wireless probe.
For $15 I got one for my Veiled Cham.
    Thanks,
    Damien
