Feeding Mice instead of Rats
So i have decided I will be feeding my new BP mice instead of rats. for some reason i just cant feed rats to a snake. maybe because i used to have 2 pet rats. the breeder is currently feeding him fuzzy rats. what size of mouse would that be?

Mouse hopper or small adult.
You could also try feeding ASF, they're typically pretty nasty little critters. I have to buy them for a few snakes that don't eat european rats, and have seen the ASF jump across the tub to take a bite out of someone's hand.

African Soft Furred Rat, which is what BP's in the wild eat. They get bigger than mice but not as big as European rats.
Just be aware that if you need to rehome your snake in the future, many people won't buy an ASF eater since the feeders often aren't easy to find, not many producers breed them. Of course, many people don't want a mouse-eating BP either.

My friend feeds her 4 yr old BP 2-3 large mice a week.
