Hello everyone. First sorry for bad English. I ve just bought baby green tree python. And I realised that he/she has a problem about his/her anus. There is a swollen bump on its anus. And today something like huge meat comes from anus and it go back after a few minutes later. Please help. What is the problem. And what is the solution ?

Take her to the vet. It is the best option at this point.

I think that might be a prolapse. Try soaking it in sugar water and make sure the snake is hydrated. If it doesn't get better in a couple days take it to a vet.

and of course I live in Turkey and there is no reptile vets in my country. No reptile vets!!!!

That is a prolapse. Trying to deal with it on a gtp is going to be a chore.

Did it go to the bathroom recently? From what you described it sounds like it may have a large urinate or feces that is having trouble exiting the snake. Are you able to feel the area and see how hard the bump is?

One cause for such an issue is dehydration so make sure your humidity is where it needs to be.

I would contact the person you bought it from and make them aware of the issue and see what they suggest as dealing with unpassed waste is a delicate process and is going to be even more tricky in such a fragile snake.

thanks for your help. I really happy to see your helps. Of course I'm very sad about my gtps situation. They really don't know how the problem have been solved. I bought it from Czech Republic. They are only transporters. They went to Czech, bought and take it to me. I take him/her to hot water. He/she swam for a while. He/she drank too much water. No the huge thing wasn't urinate or feces. It something like his/her organ or meat. So now he/she is a godd conditions. He/she has water has better climbing branches. Humidity and temperature is better. So what should I do. Is he gonna be ok ? Or his bump is getting bigger and he/she will die ??

It's a prolapse. Make a paste of sugar and a little water and put it on the bump to help the swelling go down.

Keep the humidity high in the enclosure and give access to lots of fresh water so he stays hydrated.

Once it does go back in, feed smaller meals less frequently than normal for a while so his bowel movements are smaller, which will reduce the chance of it happening again.
