Twenty gallon tank too big for small snake/hatchling?
So I am going to CRBE in sept. I already have a twenty gal. tank not being used and cleaned and was going to use it. My question is, is this too big of an enclosure if i were to get a hatchling/smaller snake?
I will have the uth, tstat and lamp w/dimmer already set up and trying to maintain the correct temps if I can use the twenty gal. (my two key is broken hence why I type the word instead of numbers.. the struggle lol)

20 is fine just busy it up for the snake to have something to do with all the space

yea... hides on both sides, maybe a short log or something so it cant fall off far if it does so it cant injure itself

See you there! Visit the Mutation booth
But yes, just provide 2 hides, water bowl (big one will clutter up more) some cumpled paper, Or i even use paper towel rolls with hatchlings sometimes they hide in there!

Hatchlings in the wild live in a "tank" that is several million gallons. So yeah, 20 is fine. It's more about how you set it up, and less about the size. As hatchlings they do better when they have places to hide. So just do what others have said - busy up the tank and your new snake should do fine!
