TOTAL newbie, wanted an albino as only snake pet and got a blue eyed leucistic.

are the blue eyed leucistics sought after? would i have a hard time trading for a albino or high contrast?
or is my 'leucy' worth way more than a regular or high contrast albino? and whats the difference between albino and high contrast? i just want a nice bright white and yellow albino.
would appreciate advice, and if anyone is interested and local to me in calif 91320, let me know! thanks!

Your leucy is probably worth at least twice as much as an albino if not more if it is a super. Do you know what its lineage is?
although in the end personal value does not always equate monetary value, and I'm sure there are some albino combos that are of equal monetary value to a bel

If you wanted one thing, why did you get another?

BELs are generally worth about twice what you would expect to pay for an albino.

Contrast in albinos, as far as I know, is a trait that has been selectively bred for (his contrasts are usually priced a bit higher - not significantly so though). Ultimately, it comes down to your own preference on what you like your BP to look like if it's going to be a pet only.

Garrick DeMeyer has good examples of albinos up on his site right now: http://www.royalconstrictordesigns.c...archy/148/1944

Lastly, be careful about posting "wanted" or "trade" type things outside of the appropriate place in this forum. This part of the site is for information.
