My New Breeding Pair
Hey everyone, I'll update some more pics when I get home but I HAD to share my most recent pick up from yesterday. This is the retic pair that will hopefully be producing some beautiful clutches in the not so distant future. My male and female Platinum Het Albino, such gorgeous snakes, I'll get more pics up this evening for sure!

The Albino Ivory project is pretty neat. Word to the wise though, I'm not 100% positive on this, but it seems as if there is a known health issue among these. I know they look awesome, but its one of those snakes that very few people show off because it seems as if they do not live to be very old, same with the Black-eyed Lucy from Utlra x Ultra . . . HOWEVER, there is a new Black-eyed Lucy line that is proving to be stronger that is, I believe, associated with Orange Glow. . . I believe Ryan Parker is working with this.

Retics are my passion. Just ask.

Thanks for the heads up! I will certainly keep my eye out, I have been trying to find info on them EVERYWHERE so if you have any threads or any url's please share! I can't find them for sale or anything. Even if could produce some ivory's and different things of that accord I'd be happy. I am also interested in seeing what the Platinum codom gene will do with other codoms, like tiger for example. Since I think by next season the male will be up to breeding size I may try and find a female tiger or something in that field that will be breedable next season to try and get some babies going. All depends though!Thank you for the words of wisdom

Join the retic nation on facebook. Best source for information around.
Ivory Albinos were being sold last year for around 2k, but I have seen 0 of them around this year . . . I'll message a couple of guys that I know with them and see whats going on. If I remember correctly, bob clark even stopped producing / selling them knowing that there seemed to be an issue once they hit a certain point.
Platinum is like the "lesser" gene in ball pythons. Its an enhancer gene and it brightens things up to make them better. Platinum is one of my favorite morphs. Ivory Anery is probably my favorite combo of them at this point. Most of the platinum projects for mainland have been tapped into by this point. Even things like the worlds first Platinum GC Cow will be produced more than likely this season or next. Some under touched things will involve Anthrax, anthrax is such a cool gene, even the visual het "granite back" does some incredible things to the mutations it plays with. And there has been no issues up to this point. Heck, Albino Anthrax was just hit for the first time this year! Probably not even 4 months ago, by NERD ...
Anyways, good luck and enjoy the addiction.

Yeah I bred a lot of ball pythons back in college and got out of it for a while. I am hoping to get in to something a lot of other breeders aren't doing in my area, and no one i know of in western PA is breeding retics. I'd love to see what the platinum gene can do in some of these it's just such a pretty snake and there are so many possible crosses! If you get any info I added you as a friend on here, just shoot me a PM or post here I'd love to know what you found out about the Ivory because that is what I was hoping to produce.
