    Reduced pattern.. how??

For example a clown reduced pattern? How do you get this? Is it just selective breeding? Comments appriciated

    Short answer: Yes

Clown itself is a mono-genetic trait, meaning a single pair of genes can make it happen. The reduced trait is very poly-genetic, meaning multiple genes will have an effect on it. Most of these genes are too subtle for us to identify individually, but when enough of them come together, you can start to visually see it. Some will contribute more than others and some can even be identifiable, like in this example, enchi or blade. However the normal reduced clowns you see are normally just a bunch of subtle genes brought together, otherwise they would be marketed with another gene.

Same concept goes with brighter pastels, high contrast albinos, high white spiders or calicos, and just about any trait we see as refined, just poly-genetic traits.

    OWALs answer is good.

its a polygenetic trait, so when you breed reduced-pattern BPs into your clown project and hold back the hets that have the most reduced pattern and so on, you get there in baby-steps.

and the two genes that reliably seem to influence it are enchi and blade. i dont know anything about blade except that someone produced some insanely reduced clowns with it. but enchi definitively does the job as well.

Evolution is a fact, evolutionary theory explains why it happens and provides four different lines of evidence that coalesce to show that evolution is a fact. If you disagree, send me a PM.

Time Dilation is real, it is so real that all clocks if they are precise enough can measure it, and GPS could not possibly work without it.
