Used to be the BOA room.

    Now it's the snake room.

I still have some work to do on the messy book case and I want to hang a large wall picture or two, but the snake room is coming together.

The royal's cage is on the left. Her moonlight fell and that's why it's overly bright.

The boa constrictor used to be on the top Pro-Line cage, but he has moved to the new 48" x 30" x 20" cage on the bottom.

    The carpet is above and she gets a 48" x 24" x 14" cage.

A picture of something "jungle like" will go above the royal cage.

Nice to walk into this each day.

Sniper still has the best crib in the house, so I guess we could still call it the "Boa Room" LOL!

Ha,, I hear ya there. I really like where I have these guys now. The snakes benefit because they are in a real basement, with on window well light. There is no human traffic other than when my wife or I use the gym in the other room, or I actually go into the snake room.

I think your daughter's old room will be fine and yeah,,, Good luck!

Look'n Awesome! One day i hope to turn the extra space into a snake room. I have a whole area above the garage that would be perfect. The garage is 3 car size but the issue is that I dont have working heat/air up there atm, but one day. I have my reloading stuff up there and its an elevated man cave. It would be even better with a snake room.

The stand with 2 cages on it is cool looking with the plant and the lava lamp.

Nice setup! I too really like the plant next to the cages... looks "jungly".
We're in the process of moving into our first house and I've claimed the downstairs spare bedroom as my critter room. It will have to house the rats, geckos, and snakes, but at least it's dedicated space. We've already painted and I'm having good vinyl flooring (faux wood grain) put down so it'll be easy to clean. I'll have to post pics too when it's finished. Of course, I don't have an;;y awesome pvc cages like yours yet, but that's coming hopefully this fall / winter.

Thanks you guys, I'm debating on a standing water fall in the room somewhere as well. But they go for a few $$$. I like the sound of running water, and I'm working on an Amazon or other type of rain forest CD for sounds in the room. I've considered running vines across the length of the room but my wife would not like that.

I'll post some night shots in another thread.

Out of all the forums here, I feel posting here on the Red Tail Boa forum is my home. Even owning a royal and a carpet, I feel like posting about them here.

Thanks for the kind words all of you.
