I brought a emerald skeleton spiderling today and Im pretty hyped but I have some questions.
I brought it in a plastic container and my sister wanted to feel "safer" so I went ahead and bought the cage that will fit it when its an adult.
I put the small container inside the cage so my sister felt "safe"
So....
When my gf was holding the cage in the car ride home she got scared and thought the spider was on her arm (it obviously wasnt)
and she got scared and kinda shook the cage a little.
Then my sister was carrying it inside and my mom came to the door and I didnt want my dad to find out I bought the spider so she ran with the cage...
So I put the cage up in my room spiderling still visible and when I went to go see it after dinner the top of the cage wasnt on fully so it dropped flat onto the floor and didnt move or anything just kinda landed on some clothes but I couldnt find the spiderling afterwards.
Is it dead? im very worried =(
How well can spiderlings put up with minor shaking?
and can the substrate crush it? its not rocks its just some moss and a few chips of wood.

It very well could be. They're fragile animals and should be treated with care. The wood chips don't help one bit either. In the future get your parents consent before you buy an animal before you put it in danger, which it could have very well died.
Update us on how it's doing please!
