    My little guy

My little buddy here is 6-6.5 months old and weighing in at 375 grams the day before feeding day, a long way from the sunken in body at 75 grams. He's eating adult mice currently. Is it time to move up? I cannot get anything in between small rats and adult mice, should I start offering a second mouse?

I think he's big enough for a small rat. Small rats are about the same size as large mice but bit more dense. If you don't think he's ready for small rats, then try giving him a second mouse and see how it goes. Worst case scenario, you'll be stuck with a mouse (if you feed live that is).
