    Can you post some pictures of the animal in the setup?
    Petco has a 7 or 14 day return policy ?
    Not saying return it yet but just in case.

    A happy BP is a colorful pet rock! Most of mine, stay coiled in the middle of there tubs. during summer and hotspot during winter!!!

    haha that's pretty much all it is! which I do like a lot. my corn snake cruises to much to just chill and watch TV so I'm excited about this BP. I just hope he is healthy and fine. I did notice in his first night of cruising he showed a wee bit of spider wobble which my wife that was the most hilarious thing ever.

    If my hides are that big of a deal I'll change them, but I feel that a snake doesn't care about its interior decorations especially. This one who doesn't care to use them.

    Temps when I got home was 87 inside the hide. 82 on the snake and 77-80 on the cool side.

    I think I see the problem, the hide is way to big they want a tight spot so they feel safe. In the picture the animal is wedged between the hide and the cage, a tight fit.
