    Temperature question

Hello everyone, I'm new to the forum and wanted to start a small collection of different snake species.
I will be using a rack system for my snakes. I've done quite a bit of research, so I know pretty much the basic care requirements, plus a year of experience with keeping a snake.
Anyways, my question was about the temp. I like quite a few different species and wanted to set a temperature that could be sutible for them all.
    species and temp.:
    ball python-80-90f
    corn snake-75-85f
    rosy boa-73-85f
    king snake-80-88f

I am limited with space so there will be only ONE rack. I wanted to set the temp to about 84f to suit them all. Is this alright? I appreciate any help or info given! 😃

Whats the room temp gonna be? If its on the cooler side I would want to give the hotspots as close to recommended as possible so going with the regular air conditioned room I would suggest the following.

If those are the four snakes you are wanting to keep and your going to have a 4 level rack you could break up the heat tape so that two levels are connected to one tstat and the other two are connected to another tstat. This way you could have a higher hotspot for those who need it and a lower hotspot for the others. To take that further if you had a six level rack you could have it heated however you would like. All levels connected or broken down in groups like 2, 2, 2, or 3 and 3, or 4 and 2, etc. You just have to make sure you have the proper tstats at that point,

Basically from the four you asked you could have a 4 level rack and a Herpstat2 and be in business with two levels being controlled by each of the Herpstat probes.
