    My first ever fresh pre-kill feed

    So in California there is a shortage of pkf feeders. The large name brand had a recall due to a bad distributor allowing salmonella to contaminate the product. So after 2 weeks of no feeding I got desperate enough to buy live and prekill for my little one. I placed the live feeder in a medium sterilite container with a jar of warm water. Then I dropped chunks of dry ice into the water and closed up the tub. 30 minutes later (to be safe) I present her with a now well dead mouse and she took it just fine.     I pre kill for mine.Tried f/t for 3 weeks in a row , no dice . Blow drying , zombie walk , nothing. Next week fresh kill , WHAM! . So prekill it is for us.
