Can BP not eat even if it's not stressed?
I have a BP and she's not eating for 2 weeks which sounds OK to me. But just in case, I wanna know if BP doesn't eat even if it's not stressed..
Oh and Last week, I discovered a mite on her body . So I cleaned her and the cage throughly, removed the substrate and replaced it with newspaper. Is the mites still on her body? If it is, is this making her stressed a lot? Thanks~

Mites could make a snake go off feed but so could a number of other things.
Husbandry off
Prey not warm enough
Prey not the preferred kind (live, prekilled, f/t, mice, rat)
Coming shed
Just being a snake
That's to name some common things.
With more info on your snakes feeding history we might be able to offer more help. As for the mite possibility I would put the snake on paper towels instead of newspaper. The white paper towels make it easy to see mites. They will look like little black specks. Also your snake suddenly soaking may be a sign of mites.

What do you mean by "cleaned her"? Normally mites need to be treated with a product specifically designed to get rid of them...i.e. Provent-a-mite...
Lucifer Sam, Siam cat...
Always sitting by your side,
Always by your side...
That cat's something I can't explain...

Hahaha... Omg what have I done... I 'washed' her for a few minute than left it alone in the bathtub for about 30 minutes for the mites to drown.. Is this terribly wrong? Also I replaced the newspaper with kitchen towel.. My Parent's are very extremely scared of snakes and I understand. So I planned to swap my BP Robin To a baby bearded dragon at the pet shop very soon. I just want Robin in a good condition.

That will not get rid of mites. There are lots of things that can stress out a ball pyton. Too much handling, putting them in a bathtub for 30 minutes, temp and humidity not correct, enclosure too big, etc. Not eating can be an indicator of stress. Just because you don't think that she is, doesn't mean she isn't.
Hope Robin feels better soon. From one Robin to another.

If you saw one mite that means there are a ton more you didn't see. They do need a mite killer treatment to fully get rid of them. Cleaning them like you did might make you think they are gone. You got rid of a lot so you might not see them for a while but if only one is left behind they will multiply again and take over with time. There are many reasons snakes can go off food. There are even a few reasons a snake can go off food if not stressed at all. But you did see a mite so those will bother you snake and cause it to not eat. Again because your cleaning go rid of some your snake might start eating again(but not necessarily) but that does mean everything will stay ok. Once the mites bring there levels back up you will have problems again.
If you are really gonna get rid of your snake make sure you properly treat it a couple time for the mites before doing so. Would be a really horrible move to sell someone a snake with mites and have them deal with it when you know you have them.
Some people use PAM to treat mites. I prefer Nix. Some people are against that because its a product for humans. Just make sure you use something that kills eggs as well as the mites. If not the problem would return again if even 2 eggs got left behind.

You should make sure you let them know it has mites. Mites transfer super easily so any snake they have in the store will get them.

Oh ok. I'm getting a beardie but I want to know if it's safe to keep him/her in the same cage? Do mites infest the cage? Thanks.

Clean and disinfect the cage and it should b fine. Make sure you read about caring for a beardie. They are a lot more work than a ball python. Don't just go by what the people at the pet store say. Take their info in addition to what you find on the net. Sometimes the people at the stores don't know the proper care. Good luck! You will love a beardie!
