Any infestation in my snake room...

I have just discovered a massive flying ant infestation in my snake room. Is there any safe any spray or trap or what have you that is safe for use around my reptiles?

the last thing I want is for my reptiles to get sick because I used something toxic to them to get rid of these pests.

they are swarming my tubs and I have taken my snakes out and washed each tub but the ants seem to want to swarm anyway. -.-

please de help me out here because this is driving me batty.

    I'd probably go with provent-a-mite.

Follow the instructions carefully however and remove any inverts/ insects from the room before treating the tubs.

its a seasonal thing, happens once a year, and because the ants should be harmless to the snakes, you could just ride it out. that of course depends on how long it lasts and how annoying it is.

Ahaha. My snake room is also my bedroom. So, it's not exactly the most thrilling thing to have ants everywhere.
but it won't hurt them if the ants get in their enclosures?
    huh. Neat.

Although having my snakes in my room is really good for the fact that I hate being cold when I sleep but that's beside the point.

the ants swarm out for mating, and to try to establish new colonies in new locations. they only temporary have wings and will lose them soon. so they are coming in now, but that will change.

so it should be completely harmless for the reptiles. you just need to take care that no new colonies get started ^^ but thats unlikely to be an issue, it takes years for a colony to grow and they need perfect conditions.
