Ok, I'm planning on using astro turf as a substrate ofr my bp enclosure, but , I was wondering if I should put something under that? So that it would not overheat with the heat pad under it.

Yeah, I've noticed that the past couple of days.
As far as your heating question, just make sure you create some space between the heating pad and the bottom on your enclosure. I use those little rubber spacers for the bottoms of furniture or electronic equipment.

Oh, cool! Man, I've found quite a few sterilite storage boxes that I can use as a cage. Man, now all I have to do is wait.
