    Coconut husk/fiber in egg boxes

I have a brick of coconut fiber lying around that I haven't got to use, do you think it could be used as a substrate in an egg box to go in the incubator? I would also be putting light diffuser grate on top of that.

    thanks!!

i guess the humidity would be too high, and coconut fiber contains too much food for fungus or bacteria. so all the egg box substrite could mold over quite rapidly.

the substrates typically used for incubating are being used because they contain absolutely no food for bacteria or fungus. so they cannot mold, not even at close to 100% humidity. i dont think thats true for the coconut stuff.

Time Dilation is real, it is so real that all clocks if they are precise enough can measure it, and GPS could not possibly work without it.

I have used it with leos and ball pythons also using the same method, 100% hatch rate so far. Haven't had any mold issues either.
