Incubator temp swing
So temp spikes up are really bad. How bad is it if they drop a few degree in at most 2 days? I last checked on my incubator 2 days ago and everything seemed fine temp at 89 humidity at 99. I go to check on it today and it is down at 86, the tstat failed (luckily cutting all power instead of running full throttle). They are slowly coming back up to temp now. Anyway does anyone think I will run into problems from this drop? or is it more the ups in temp that are bad?

Depends on the fluctuation itself and whether the temp are going higher or lower.
In your case a 3 degrees fluctuation with temps going down to 86 should not be a problem.

I think I have my issues under control. I am out of room in my bator though and I have one more female that might go (don't think she will but my luck she will surprise me with one small egg lol) I might have to take you up on that if she lays. I have been fretting a little bit over what to do if she does.

Bring it here, mine is actually empty at the moment. My only other gravid girl is expected to lay in the next week though, so it's up and running.
