Animal Plastics shipping in 3 pieces
I ordered my 3 AP cages in February and they're finally scheduled to be here tomorrow.
I also looked at FedEx and it said it was a 3 piece shipment and the normal destination date would be tomorrow. But when I click the 3 piece shipment, it says one will be here tomorrow, one will be here thursday, and one will be here friday.
For those of you who had more than one AP cage shipped to them via FedEx, is this how it is? Should I be expecting to wait three days for all of them, or is it all in one day? Because I would think that would be a huge waste of gas and time for them and a little frustrating on my part.
Thanks!

Re: Animal Plastics shipping in 3 pieces
When I ordered the second T8 the glass doors didn't come till the following day. Everything was together for the first one I got though.

My six shelf rack showed up in two boxes and on the same day.
I have a ten tall rack in production.
You could always wait until the third day and pick all three up if that is really the case.

Re: Animal Plastics shipping in 3 pieces
I have 2 T20's for my boas, plus a base. It came in 3 or 4 pieces. Spread over like 3 days... kind of annoying. But Ali told me "that FedEx was less likely to mishandled or damage if they didn't have a bunch of big pieces in one delivery". Seems stupid to me. Do it all at once and get it done with. But it came in pieces, different days, with a bunch of different tracking numbers. :/
If nothing ever changed, there would be no butterflies.

What benefit do they have by shipping out on different days like that? It costs them more that way.
I'm sure they had issues with packages being handled poorly.

Re: Animal Plastics shipping in 3 pieces
I was told by Ali that they ship the glass out the day after to allow people to assemble the cages and for the sealant to dry, so people don't put their animals in to soon.
I think if you are dumb enough to put your animals in while it is still curing then you shouldn't have the animals in the first place :/
