    Male in breeding mode

I have a male pastel lesser who has been breeding this fall. However he does not want to eat. He seems to be stuck in breeding mode. The last time he was paired with a female was in late November. He has refused to eat since the last of November. I keep a monthly record of his weight, and he has not lost any weight. So my question is what is the best way to get him out of breeding mode and eating again ? Thanks for your help.

Is he near any females? I try to keep my males as far away as possible from any females.

Eventually he will eat. My Lesser didn't eat for 8 months after starting breeding last season.

I have him in a rack system with females. I may have to put him into a different room. Wow yours went 8 months with out eating!
