    New Set-up

I finished my new rack for my females today, it holds 12, 61 quart tubs. It’s heated with 12 inch THG heat tape, and a VE-200 thermostat.
    Here’s a pic:

It’s the one on the left.

Sitting next to it is my 15, 32 quart tub rack that I built over the summer. It’s heated by 6 inch THG heat tape, and another VE-200 thermostat. This one is being used for my males who will stay in 32 quart tubs, and females who are still on the smaller side until they get big enough to be moved over.
I love having all the new storage space, and this room is now truly the “snake room”. I may get a small freezer to put on the other side of the room. As certain people don’t like having frozen rats by the human food.
    Thanks for looking!

Wish I was handy enough to build racks. Getting ready to order my first set myself.

I agree really really nice set up love how organized it is and the little section for stuff up top.

And to answer your question No it's not bad. I was thinking and it's not really that much different from storing pork or steaks or whatever in your freezer. Those animals were killed to be food for us and the rodents are killed to be food for snakes, both are the frozen meat of an animal and both have risk for carrying disease/bacteria. So there's not that much difference in my eyes. Your more likely to get sick eating a jar of peanut butter than getting sick from the food in your freezer that the frozen feeders are close to.
