How to find out a morph

*** I'm not sure if this is the right section to post this in, so instead of infracting me and deleting the posts like my others ones just move it please***

Some of you might know this method, but if you have a morph that you don't know and noones giving the right answers there's one way that can help you filter out some of the cluster.

All you need to do is go to Google images and click 'Search by Image' then upload the current picture you have of your snake. (Make sure it's nice and Clear)

Then of course after it's uploaded and even before type in something such as "Ball Python" "Ball Python Morph" into the search bar so it narrows it down.

Then browse around and try to find the one that looks most like yours

Hopefully this can help some of you!

If you have a morph that you don't know, then how do you know that no one is giving the right answer?

If you have a morph that you don't know, I have a hard time believing that you wouldn't be able to get it identified right here at BP.net.

its an interesting use of technology, and may help to get a few initial suggestions.

but really, the differences the skilled people here watch out for are far more subtle. i doubt a simple algorithm for image file comparison will pick up a head stamp, or a difference in color in the flames.
The Big Bang almost certainly (beyond reasonable doubt) happened 13.7 billion years ago. If you disagree, send me a PM.
Evolution is a fact, evolutionary theory explains why it happens and provides four different lines of evidence that coalesce to show that evolution is a fact. If you disagree, send me a PM.
One third of the global economy relies on technology that is based on quantum mechanics, especially quantum electrodynamics (electron-photon or electron-electron interactions). If you disagree, send me a PM.
Time Dilation is real, it is so real that all clocks if they are precise enough can measure it, and GPS could not possibly work without it.

    Yep works real well

All pictures are nice and clear 1026 x 770 pixel.

    Kingpin

    Lesser Bee

And Pied, you would think this one is so obvious that you would find a lot more Pied pictures, only two were find, the same one posted by me on my website and here same goes for my albino

Now with Ball Python in the search

    Not a single Lesser Bee

So it pretty much work like online translators ....translators will sometime come close enough but let's face it, nothing like the human point of view, same here.

Now I will put my mod hat on and address this

Your other posts received a warning, and later on a infraction and were removed because YOU broke the rules of this site by choosing to advertised on the main forum, it is YOUR duty to make sure that you comply with our rules

We obviously do not infract or delete a post because it is placed in the wrong category unless it is related to advertising.

    made my day

to be fair, you could have included "ball python" in the search.

You have to be kidding me, right?

What kind of pitiful looser thinks Google is the answer for finding a ball python morph? That's like thinking playing the lottery is the way to get rich. Sure it might happen, but most people know it's a complete waste of time, money and intelligence.

Anyone with even half of a brain would know about World of Ball Pythons, which has the single most comprehensive list of ball python morphs anywhere on the internet, along with thousands of pictures. And of course, anyone looking for what rare, expensive morph their normal is, can think it looks like most any morph they choose. That is why you talk to as many knowledgeable, experienced people with large collections of ball pythons as possible, to make use of their trained eyes to help you figure out what you have, even if it isn't the answer you want.

By all means, if you think you know ever so much more than the people here, then leave. No one wants or likes a hateful know-it-all, who really doesn't know squat but insists otherwise.

And if you are so much better than everyone else, then you can by all means take your mythical morph to a few reptile shows and persuade the people who have been importing and breeding these snakes for 20 years or longer they don't know what they are looking at either.

I have no tolerance for people like you. You come here seeking help or advise, and when you don't get the answer you want, you get all self righteous and nasty. If you already knew what you had, why bother us? Go find some other airheads to agree with your every idea, the rest of us will continue to help those who really want help, not just confirmation of their supposed superiority.

Re: How to find out a morph

I'm just saying if someone can't get an answer they can single it down with the google method , I'm not hateful at all! If you took offense to anything please understand that I'm not serious or challenging anyone and just trying to help out a bit. OF COURSE this method doesn't work 100%... You don't got to attack me like that , anyways have a good day.
