What do you think?
So the girl I rescued a little while ago that apparently had locks before I got her has suddenly changed her behavior. She has become very restless, and is shoving all of her bedding everywhere. She's normally very calm, hardly moves, etc. I tried to pair her with a male I have, but I never saw them lock. Not even once. She may have had an ovulation before I got her - when I tried asking the previous owner, he literally had no idea. She spends all of her time on the hot side of her tub. She stopped eating for me - I was able to feed her once, the week after I got her, and now she won't eat anything. She seems to have developed a hatred of her water dish and continually tips it now (even though it's a big one she shouldn't be able to - she will dig until she gets under it with her nose and flip it over). I'm not sure if any of this behavior is gravid behavior or ovy behavior, or if she's just being weird. She does tend to sit in a coil now, which she wasn't doing when I first got her. What do you guys think? It's nearly impossible to say anything based on her appearance in my opinion. Plus, if she already had the ovulation before I got her, then I missed one of the biggest signs for breeding her.
Thank you for all your thoughts everyone =] I really appreciate it.

How big is she in grams? The general pattern I see with my females even if I miss ovulation is
-eat very aggressively after being paired
-stop eating for 2-3 months
-shed at 1 month post eating
-shed at 2 months post eating
-become very restless tearing up hides and bedding
-lay eggs within a few days of tearing up the tub
Lets have a photo and weight.

She's 2055 grams. So she's a pretty big girl, but certainly not the biggest. This is her third week not eating. According to the previous owner, she ate like a champ before I got her (I don't know how reliable of a source he is, but he's all I have to go on). She's now extremely restless, and I just came home and found her curled up in a perfect coil on the cool side of her tub, with all of the bedding shoved to the sides. She hasn't had a shed with me yet, but she might have had one right before I got her because when I got her, she had pieces of shed stuck to her.

Re: What do you think?
im not sure if there's reason to actively fuss yet, but if she does drop some pearly whites on you, you can leave them in with her to maternally incubate if you can't get access to an incubator.
I'm blanking out, are you new to the BP world?

I already plan on having her maternally incubate if she does lay anything. =] And if she doesn't, I won't be disappointed. It would just be cool if she is gravid.
I'm not all that new to the BP world, just relatively new to the breeding world. This snake kind of landed in my lap because I stumbled across a listing for her and she wasn't being treated entirely right. My heart just melted and I had to get her. She's super sweet.

Aha, I gotcha. I didnt mean to come off as rude, just wanted to make sure I didn't start advising someone who wasn't asking for advice, since you do seem pretty knowledgeable on what to expect anyway! Never hurts to read more, though, lots of good material on here. =)

Oh no no, you didn't come off as rude at all! =] I'm always looking for advice. After all, everyone has different experiences in the BP world, and every snake and situation are different. I can always learn from what other people have been through, and I love getting advice. The more knowledge and advice I collect, the better care I can provide my BPs. =]
