Looks like he's got himself hooked like that cause he probably knows if he let's go, he'll fall. Doubt he's sleeping, would you be able to sleep if your arms were wrapped around a tree to keep yourself from falling out of it? You should also leave him alone during his shed cycle so he doesn't get stressed or nippy. Pretty stress can lead to bad sheds as well.

I just noticed last night that his eyes were turning blue. He ate 2 large mice today, so he'll be left alone for 2 days.
Oliver usually crawls around my neck and just lies there. I wasn't sure what he was doing last night - he's never done it before.
