    Genetic Markers

Hi Gang, I recently got a female pastel that was from a ghost and clown. Are there any markers to tell weather or not the gene got past? I am not sure but what I have been looking into and might just be a luck thing, and would have to seen when I breed her. Any info would help.

What was the actual pairing (or more specific than clown and ghost)? And pics of said female?

I don't know anything about the pair other than the morph was showing on both parents. How can I get pics on here?

You can upload them to photobucket then paste the IMG code here: where did the pastel gene come from or were the parents multi-gene? I'd ask for clarification so we can better help you.

Ok I will see where I can find photobucket. that kind of stuff is like a foreign language to me. but as far as the backround on the female...sorry that's all I have. I didn't pay much so I guess I will just have to prove her or least have a few pastels for sale.

Het clown can often be visual.
Usually it brightens up the morphs and influences the pattern a bit.

Here's my Pastel Lesser. She's 66% het clown hypo on paper, but I'm pretty sure she'll prove out.
