Ever see a snake roll when he eats?
Fed Moko a f/t weanling rat today, his first one at that stage. He grabs this thing fast as ever but ends up with his head turned around and instead of dragging the rat around to come straight, he hangs onto the rats heads and completely rolls his whole body to end up straight on! It was awesome to see (kids loved it too). The rest of the feeding was just as awesome with a direct view I always feed at low light so I was unable to capture it on video. Is this a common practice for a bp?

My little guy, Phred, did that the first time he ate a f/t rat fuzzy (he had been eating mice fuzzies, so they were quite a bit bigger). The more he eats the rat fuzzies, the less he does that now though.

I realize it's all in the way he grabs the rat, but it was wicked cool to see. They're a amazing pet and so beautiful too.

Yep, ours does that. I've seen her roll all over the place when wrapping. Ours does the periscope as well when getting it all they way.
