potty problems

I fed my ball python last week and his next feeding is tommorrow, but all he ha was some urate and has not actually pooped yet

Doesn't sound like you have a problem. He will eventually.

Some go every week, some go after every shed, some once per season (I have heard). I've had mine for about 6 or 7 months and have only found actual physical feces about 3 or 4 times.

They are all different. As long as s/he is passing urates, everything should be fine.

It's fine. They go when they feel like it, which is usually about 5 minutes after you clean the cage.
