About a 2 years ago I rescued this sweet 5 year old BP. When i got her she had some bad nuerological problems. You see what had happened is that she was put with an imported BP and it had ticks and mites. Well they went to "PETSMART!!!!!!!!" to see what they can do. Well, the girl gave them some FLEA SPRAY, the kind for dogs and cats. It killed some of the mites but the little import died a few days after but the female was still alive. They didnt want her anymore so i took her in. She had that spray residew all over her so I gave her a really good bath with some Dawn cuz this residew was really greasy and it worked like a charm. I took her to the vet and she was given some fluids along with an antibiotic. This poor thing would try to crawl but she couldnt get it quite right. It was like her locomotion was all screwed up. I took care of her for a year and she made an absolutely miracle recovery even her movement came back. Well, she has been out of my hands for about a year and learned that she was bred with an albino male and just today 5 out of the 6 eggs hatched with no problems. The 7th died sometime during incubation but they were scared to remove it because it was in the center of the clutch. I feel so proud.
    Thanks,
    Damien

Flea spray? That is unforgivable. You are awesome for rescuing that poor snake from those morons. I think that you deserve one of her babies.

Very cool. I'm glad you took such good care of her and were able to rescue her. I agree with Ginevive that you deserve a baby.

What an awesome story! I love hearing stories with happy endings like these!!
Life is like a game of poker. You can play each hand to the best of your ability but you are still going to run into a bad beat from time to time. What matters is how you handle it. Do you go on tilt or can you maintain your composure & rebuild your stack?
