Incubator and condensation
Ok so I have built a cooler incubator and temps are perfect 88-89 in egg box 90-91 surrounding egg box.
My humidity is 98% in egg box. Now I am getting a little condensation around the coolers top edge. I don't have an air right egg box so I think the humidity is escaping the egg box and building up in the cooler. Is this a problem or do I need to change something?

It's not a problem, my egg boxes are not air tight either either, I never use press and seal and never have to add water.
Now as far as condensation, a little condensation is ok you just need to make sure that it does not build up on the lid and drip back down on the eggs.

It all depends how you're heating it. electricity + water = bad

Yup, just make sure it doesn't start accumulating on the eggs. I had one box get very out of whack one year (still don't know what happened) and was constantly accumulating and dripping water. I had to wipe down the box almost every day to keep water from getting on the eggs. All ended up hatching just fine, though.

Re: Incubator and condensation
I may try press and seal to keep humidity in the egg box and at least the condensation won't build up in the incubator. I wouldn't want it to drip on the heat tape.
