    Need Help... Potential Trade

I have a male pastel that I had up for sale. I have a guy interested in trading him for a black pastel female. Awesome right? Except... I suspect his "black pastel" is really a normal. Anyone care to advise me on this?

Not a terribly good example of anything, imo. She's not very big, is she? That brownout line leads me to believe she could be a VERY low quality "brown pastel" aka a crappy quality example of the classic pastel morph. Pass.

A brown Pastel is not a Black Pastel.

I gotta agree that looks like a very browned out normal pastel.

Thank you guys! I feel the same way. She's only 200 grams too, so for her to be that brown already is a little scary.

This is my pastel male that I would potentially be trading. He's 311 grams, before his meal yesterday.

Sorry for the grainy phone pic. He never stops moving.

i dont like the one you would be getting. i agree with the others, im not even sure it is a black pastel.

there are some good pictures in this thread:

    i especially like this picture:
    Black Pastel:

the dark areas within the alien heads would definitively be a trait i would look for in a black pastel

That's what I thought. I was comparing pictures online and it just didn't add up. I'm going to pass on it. He seemed really sketchy. He was texting me telling me he had a female ready to breed and wanted to buy him to put with her. He also said he has over 100 snakes. The first thing I said to my boyfriend about it was, "He's full of crap. No breeder buys a male pastel. Especially when he supposedly has over 100 snakes." He wanted me to lower the price on him and when I said no, but that I'd trade him for a female, he offered his "black pastel" baby. Ugh. I called him out on it. He hasn't responded lol.

Honestly I'm laughing at the person who contacted you. A lot. Keep your guy until you get an offer that's worth something. That girl will do your breeding plans no good at all.
