I remember somebody making hides out of clay or something i just want to know what kind of clay was and they should put it in the DIY.Thanks for the help. 8)

You can make them by smashing a side out of those shallow red clay pots.

That was me. I made a hide for Hanover out of polymer clay -- like Sculpey, Premo, etc. -- in the shape of an igloo because I thought it would be funny for an African snake. It was very straightforward to do and could be done by someone with no experience. I would, however, suggest as an afterthought that it would be worthwhile to coat either the entire thing or just the inside with Sculpey glaze to make cleaning off snake p00 easier.
